Award-winning composers Marc and Steffan Fantini are selling their Venice, California home — a beautiful villa-style duplex that sits right on the canal.

The two prolific composers, known as the Fantini Brothers, have several music credits to their name, including the scores of popular TV shows like Criminal Minds and Army Wives. They’ve enlisted the help of Emil Hartoonian and Michael Bloom with The Agency to sell their Venice residence, and brought it to market with a $4.85 million ask.

With its Mediterranean-style architecture, curved windows, stone façade, and the canal right at its doorstep, the double residence hints at the very origins of Venice Beach (which was built in the early 20th century as a replica of Venice, Italy).

Displaying a level of sophistication and architectural detail that seem to have been taken straight from the Venetian Gothic style that’s characteristic to Venice’s Italian counterpart, the duplex is a sight to behold.

The unique architecture, paired with the stunning canal views, will make you feel like you’ve been transported to Italy. Credit for the duplex’s unique design goes to the prestigious Tomaro Architecture firm, who incorporated elements like a warm stucco & stone exterior, a slate roof, curved windows, and a cobblestone driveway to elevate the Mediterranean-style home.

The Fantini Brothers’ duplex is split into two homes, each with 3 bedrooms and 4 baths. With a little over 3,800 square feet of space, the residences come with luxuriously appointed interiors, including a great room with an inviting living area and a chef’s kitchen with wood cabinetry. There’s also a dining area with a wet bar, wine cooler and cellar, a fireplace, and expansive glass doors that open to the yard and the Venice canals.

Spiral staircases with wrought-iron details and dark wood elevators lead to the upper level, where primary suites with luxury features steal the show.

Each primary suite has been fitted with a gorgeous chandelier, a fireplace set against stone, a walk-in closet, and double doors which lead into the large ensuite bathroom with a flatscreen, soaking tub, double vanity, glass-enclosed shower, and a separate water closet.

Other features include a sophisticated ensuite office with damask patterned wallpaper and a gym space that opens to a private balcony. There’s also a three-car garage, carport for two additional smaller cars, and extra on-site parking.

To take advantage of the spectacular views, the duplex has a generously sized rooftop deck made for entertaining guests. It has its own kitchen, wet bar, sound system, and raised garden beds.
