Supermodel Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber are ready to part ways with their custom-built Malibu beach house. The couple is asking $6,995,000 for the four-bedroom home, and has enlisted the help of one of Malibu’s top agents, Chris Cortazo of Compass, to find a buyer.
Crawford and Gerber currently own two other homes — a Beverly Hills mansion and a lake cottage in Canada, close to Toronto — and are no stranger to flipping properties. But the two have been calling the Malibu property home for the past 15 years.
Now, Gerber and Crawford seem ready to pack their bags and move out of their longtime home.
The four-bedroom property that the celebrity couple has been calling home is on the market for $6,995,000.
The beach house sits at the end of a private gated road just north of Broad Beach. The area has been a celebrity favorite for years, its privacy and beach frontage attracting many high profile stars to the area, including Pierce Brosnan, Robert De Niro, Danny DeVito, Mel Gibson, Goldie Hawn & Kurt Russell, Robert Redford, Steven Spielberg and Slyvester Stallone.
In a recent interview with Architectural Digest, Cindy Crawford talked openly about the happy times her family spent in her Malibu home, highlighting the family room as her favorite space in the house.
“Where we live in Malibu, that’s our main house, we have a kitchen/family room, and no matter what, that’s where everyone wants to be. Because if you’re hungry, there’s food there, there’s a TV. We have a super comfy sofa, and two chairs with swivels. What I love about that room is it just brings everyone together.”
And that comes as no surprise, since Crawford’s house features a sun-filled great room fitted with a most inviting sitting area with fireplace and complemented by an open, dedicated dining area.
The room leads into a gourmet kitchen that features a breakfast bar, while a wall of custom glass sliders opens up to a wood deck that overlooks the ocean.

Upstairs you will find a warm and inviting owner’s suite (with its own fireplace, of course), custom built-ins, spa-like bath with a Jaccuzi and French doors that open to another large wood sun deck. There are also two additional bedrooms.
Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber had the first floor room with a private interior courtyard set up as an office — one that Cindy used a lot, often sharing how much she loves working from her Malibu home. But the space can be easily turned into a fourth bedroom.
