‘Hamilton’ Stars Daveed Diggs, Emmy Raver-Lampman List Stylish AD-Featured House

The talented duo, who went on to star in hit Netflix series (Daveed Diggs as the leading man in the dystopian 'Snowpiercer', and Emmy Raver-Lampman as a superhero in 'The Umbrella Academy'), want $2,895,000 for their reimagined modern farmhouse.

One year after Hamilton stars Emmy Raver-Lampman and Daveed Diggs gave Architectural Digest the tour of their ultra-stylish abode, the pair decided to part ways with their colorful Southern California home.

The two actors listed the beautifully appointed house in the San Fernando Valley neighborhood of Sherman Oaks for $2.895 million. Michael Grady with The Agency holds the listing.

The news comes two months after the talented couple — who met while starring in the groundbreaking Broadway musical sensation, Hamilton — bought another star-studded property in the Valley.

Back in April, Daveed and Emmy reportedly paid $5 million for Grey’s Anatomy actor Kevin McKidd’s rustic-chic house in Studio City.

And while the couple is ready to move on (or, rather, move in) to their new pad, we’re happy to get a chance to take another good look at the modern farmhouse they’ve been calling home for the past 4 years.

Inside Emmy Raver and Daveed Diggs’ house, an AD fan favorite

If you’ve found yourself daydreaming about Emmy Raver-Lampman and Daveed Diggs’s stylish home after its Architectural Digest feature in 2021, you’re not alone.

The Broadway stars’ house tour raked in close to 4 million views on Youtube and quickly became a fan favorite.

With its eye-grabbing kitchen, tiny record room tucked under the stairs, and many spots for Daveed’s frequent naps, the celebrity house drew countless positive reactions.

“This is probably my favorite actual home from AD. It’s a treasure trove of ideas,” one commenter said. “Stylish, quirky, and NOT pretentious. Hands down the best celebrity home,” another chimed in.

When Emmy and Daveed moved in, the 3,500-square-foot home was newly built (completed in 2018), so upgrades weren’t necessary.

But the couple wanted it to better reflect their personality and interests, so they enlisted the help of designer Mandy Cheng to add extra flair to the interiors and outdoor spaces.

They revamped the kitchen, which previously sported a plain white design, adding dark green cabinets, an intricate tile backsplash, and open brass shelves.

The kitchen was the only room of the house they fully renovated after moving in.

The rest of the reimagined farmhouse saw minor cosmetic upgrades, many of which hand picked (and even hand-painted) by Emmy herself.

A little study on the main floor features Emmy Raver-Lampman’s handywork: the entire wall has been covered by little black hash marks she painted herself.

The reimagined modern farmhouse has a total of 5 bedrooms and 6 baths, with one bedroom downstairs and four bedrooms upstairs, all fitted with walk-in closets, custom cabinetry, and en-suite bathrooms.

The luxurious primary suite has a private balcony that opens up to beautiful mountain views.

It also comes with an en-suite bathroom with double vanities and a sit-down make-up area, a freestanding tub, and large shower.

To create the perfect space for them to enjoy — alongside their adorable French bulldog, Luna — Emmy and Daveed worked with Mandy to transform the grassy space into a large deck area.

There’s also a covered patio with a fireplace that extends out to the resort-like private backyard which includes a pool with a Baja shelf, spa and waterfall feature, a built-in lounge area, a bar with a custom fire feature, BBQ, and refrigerator.

While their Hamilton days are behind them, the two performers have been keeping busy these past few years.

Emmy Raver-Lampman is portraying Allison Hargreeves/The Rumor in the Netflix series The Umbrella Academy — to great critical acclaim — while Daveed Diggs has been starring in the dystopian thriller series Snowpiercer, and will soon be the voice of Sebastian in Disney’s live-action film The Little Mermaid.

Acting aside, Daveed is putting his singing chops to good use as a vocalist for the experimental hip-hop group Clipping. The multi-talented performer won a Grammy and a Tony award for his role as the Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson in the 2015 musical Hamilton by Lin-Manuel Miranda.
