The star of "Million Dollar Listings New York" has not only traded the Big Apple for sunny Cali, but made a rather natural move from ritzy penthouses to sprawling estates and luxurious mansions.

Fredrik Eklund, the lovable, high-kicking Swedish broker, has gradually expanded his business in California over the past few years, but has only recently moved to the City of Angels with his family, fulfilling a life-long dream.

Now, that dream seems to be coming together quite nicely, as Eklund and his power team are bringing to market one million dollar listing after another.

The newest high profile addition to their list is this three-structure estate on a lush lot in Beverly Hills that goes by the name Maison Roger. Eklund is handling the listing, along with Stacy Gottula, one of the newest members of the Eklund Gomes team at Douglas Elliman.

Let’s talk about Maison Roger

The property at 9555 Heather Road is a massive gated compound that rests on approximately 1.3 acres. The opulent, Ralph Lauren-inspired residence was originally built by Paul Williams in 1941, with a mid-2000 renovation bringing it up to the finest modern standards.

There are three separate structures (close to 15,000 square feet) on the lush grounds of the compound.

The main residence, boasting tree views from almost every room and oak floors throughout, features five bedrooms — two out of which are master suites — as well as two staff quarters, seven bathrooms, three powder rooms, and a formal living room with vaulted ceilings and French doors that open to the outdoor patios and the on-site tennis court.

The detached guest house comes with its own separate entrance and two-car garage, and has two bedrooms, two baths, a living room and a powder room.

There’s an additional structure, that the listing calls an entertainment structure but that, for the sake of accuracy we will be referring to it as the fun house! That’s because this is what all guests (and residents, of course) must love most about the Maison Roger.

The fun house comes with its own vintage bowling alley that opens up to a billiard and game room and VIP bar.

Naturally, after all that fun time, some relaxation is due. So there’s also a pool and spa on the estate, along with a dry sauna. Though a simple walk on the lush grounds of the estate might get the same results.
