In the highly sought-after Pittsburgh suburb of Canonsburg, PA, a sprawling property is looking to change owners — and will likely set a new local real estate record in the process.

The secluded sanctuary known as Oak Grove sits in the coveted McMurray neighborhood, considered to be one of the best places to live in all of Pennsylvania. But location pales in comparison to some of this striking estate’s many standout features.

Priced at a whopping $28,876,000, the spectacular estate offers a sprawling 110-acre lot anchored by a stately European-style mansion fit for modern-day royalty. Adding to its allure, the property is considered to be one of the finest equestrian estates in the entire country.

It then comes as little surprise that Oak Grove is the most expensive home currently on the market in the entire state of Pennsylvania. In fact, only two other listings in the entire Keystone State have an asking price of over $20 million — both of them penthouses in downtown Philadelphia.

Listed with agents Bonnie Loya and Kim Marie Angiulli of Coldwell Banker Realty, McMurray PA Office, the estate comes with 110 acres of land in one of the most desirable areas in the state of Pennsylvania.

But the main attraction is the massive 20,000-square-foot mansion, reminiscent of Europe’s finest estates. Built in 2011, the stately abode comes with 6 bedrooms, 11 baths, and the finest amenities money can buy.

The great room stands out with its soaring 26′ ceilings and features a striking fireplace made out of Mexican bedrock, flanked by two Juliet balconies.

Notable indoor amenities include a billiard room and cinema (draped in red velvet), a lower-level entertainment space with a 2,000-bottle wine cellar, bourbon bar, hibachi grill, and even a dance floor.

Stepping outside of the stately mansion, we find wide-ranging amenities that can appeal to even the pickiest buyer.

Among them is a 235-yard golfing fairway for golf enthusiasts (with an adjacent putting green), and an inground pool with a stone pool house (that comes with a cabana, eating area, and kitchenette).

And while it has a little something for everyone, the property’s main selling point is that it’s already an established equestrian facility. As such, McMurray’s Oak Grove estate comes with a 13-stall stable, indoor and outdoor riding arenas, and fenced pastures.

Listing agent Bonnie Loya told Midland Daily News that “The floors of the stables are radiant heated, so when you’re walking between the stable and the indoor riding area, you don’t ever have to worry about ice,” Loya says, adding that “There’s even radiant heat on the pathways between the buildings.”
