HOMES ON TV

We've Tracked Down   Grace & Frankie’s  Beautiful Beach House  in Real Life

Having now reached its  7th (and last) season

Grace and Frankie holds the record for the longest running original series on Netflix.

There's so much to love about this bold series

From its sharp-tongued, quirky leading ladies, stellar acting, to the storyline that tackles heavy subject matter with poise and humor.

And the homes  featured on the show

are the perfect backdrop to all  the heartwarming and fun moments it delivers.

From the beach house Grace and Frankie share to Sol and Robert’s new Spanish Colonial, the houses have been carefully picked to complement the story — and match the unique personalities of its characters.

That's why we just  had to track them down

and found that none of them are actually located in La Jolla (San Diego area), as the show would lead us to believe.

Grace and Frankie's lovely beach house

is located in the prestigious city of Malibu, and comes with a Broad Beach Road address - an area that's very popular with celebrities.

so it wouldn’t be at all surprising if Grace and Frankie would stumble upon Pierce Brosnan, Mel Gibson, Robert DeNiro, or Cindy Crawford during one of their daily walks.

The actual home has about 4,000 sq ft, 4 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms and unobstructed ocean views. It last sold  in 2016 for a whopping $15 million.

The location can’t take credit for the gorgeous interiors,

but it does supply all exterior views including the notable Dutch style red door that we get to see in some episodes.

While the filmmakers took inspiration from the Malibu house when recreating the interiors, most of what we see onscreen is filmed on a sound stage at Paramount Studios.
