TV HOMES
In Cobra Kai, Netflix’s critically acclaimed revival of '80s cult classic, The Karate Kid, Daniel LaRusso has moved up in the world.
His days of living in a rundown apartment complex in Reseda with his mom are behind him.
In fact, he traded the rundown apartment for a gorgeous villa in a posh neighborhood of LA, where he lives with his wife, Amanda, and their two kids.
Carefully picked to reflect Daniel new status in the world, the house is said to be located in Encino, a quiet, affluent area of L.A.
But in real life, the LaRusso residence isn’t even in California.
The house is actually in Marietta, Georgia, a beautiful community set just northwest of Atlanta.
Built in 2008, the striking family home was sold last year for $2.4 million.
The charming Tuscan-style villa has 6 bedrooms and 7 baths spread across roughly 9,000 sq. ft. of living space.
As seen on the Netflix show, the house comes with tons of outdoor space, including a resort-like pool and al fresco dining.
But it also has a striking greenhouse and an indoor atrium.
Despite the action of Cobra Kai taking place in California, many of the locations seen on screen were filmed in Georgia.
In fact, the only prominent location from the series that’s actually based in California is Johnny Lawrence’s apartment building, which is in LA.
But if you too have your heart set on Daniel's house, we have some good news to share.
Its new owners plan on sharing their beautiful abode with fans of the show, and will be listing it as a rental on Airbnb.
