$65M Rolls-Royce-inspired Florida megamansion goes big on cars, wellness and lavish interiors

Set on 2.5 lakefront acres in Delray Beach's billionaire-favored Stone Creek Ranch, Villa Spectre comes with a seven-car automotive gallery, 95-foot pool, Bulgari-inspired spa, private sports facilities, and nearly 21,000 square feet of living space.

There are garages, and then there are rooms designed to make a Rolls-Royce look like it belongs in an art museum.

At Villa Spectre, a sprawling contemporary estate in Delray Beach, Florida, the owner’s car collection gets the latter treatment.

A climate-controlled seven-car automotive gallery was incorporated directly into the architecture, with an executive office overlooking the cars from above.

That should give some indication of the scale we’re dealing with here.

The lakefront megamansion has just been listed for $65 million with Senada Adžem of Douglas Elliman.

Its owner is retired tech CEO Barry Smith, who commissioned a residence inspired in part by the craftsmanship, precision, and understated elegance associated with Rolls-Royce.

Located within Stone Creek Ranch, a guard-gated enclave known for some of South Florida’s largest and priciest homes, the property occupies approximately 2.5 acres and has 20,723 square feet of living space.

Completed in 2024, Villa Spectre was designed and developed by Aldo Stark of Prestige Design Homes as an expansive single-story compound, with six bedrooms, nine full bathrooms, and two powder rooms.

Despite the extraordinary scale, its architecture largely avoids the ornate aesthetic traditionally associated with Florida megamansions. Monumental glass walls, clean lines, contemporary European influences, and lake views establish a decidedly modern backdrop.

The automotive gallery is perhaps the clearest expression of the Rolls-Royce inspiration.

Rather than relegating the owner’s collection to a conventional garage, the climate-controlled space was designed to display up to seven cars as individual objects. Smith’s executive office overlooks the gallery, effectively placing the automobiles within view of his workspace.

But cars are only the beginning of Villa Spectre’s rather lengthy amenity list.

The grand salon makes full use of the home’s proportions, with soaring ceilings, sculptural crystal chandeliers, and floor-to-ceiling glass overlooking the water.

An adjoining lounge creates another gathering area, while the formal dining room revolves around a custom Brazilian onyx table large enough for 20.

Entertaining on that scale also explains why one kitchen apparently wasn’t enough.

There’s a gourmet family kitchen for everyday use, plus a separate professional chef’s kitchen with its own staff entrance.

The latter allows catered events to operate behind the scenes without disrupting the main entertaining spaces.

The home’s six bedroom suites include not one but two primary retreats, one more lavish than the other — in keeping with the rest of the house.

Both come with boutique-like dressing rooms and elaborate bathrooms conceived more along the lines of private spas, while four additional suites accommodate guests.

Then there’s the actual spa.

Inspired by Bulgari’s luxury hospitality aesthetic, Villa Spectre’s dedicated wellness area includes an indoor swimming pool, Himalayan salt room, steam room, sauna, and relaxation spaces.

A private salon is also incorporated into the residence.

For movie nights, there’s a dedicated theater. A large recreation room provides another entertainment space, further reinforcing the sense that this is closer to a private resort than a conventional family home.

Outside, things get even bigger.

A 95-foot swimming pool and spa stretches across the lakefront grounds, accompanied by a fully equipped cabana with its own kitchen, bar, and bathroom. Italian cypress trees, water features, and extensive landscaping frame the outdoor spaces.

And anyone who somehow gets restless has plenty of options.

The 2.5-acre grounds accommodate a combination basketball and pickleball court, private soccer field, and putting green, essentially giving the estate its own small sports complex.

The lake itself provides the backdrop for much of the property, with extensive glazing throughout the residence keeping the water visible from the principal living spaces.

It’s an enormous checklist even by Stone Creek Ranch standards, a community that has become synonymous with supersized estates and billionaire-level asking prices.

Yet Villa Spectre’s most distinctive idea may remain the one waiting back inside: seven automobiles lined up in their own climate-controlled gallery, treated with the sort of lighting, space, and architectural attention normally reserved for fine art.

For a house inspired by Rolls-Royce, perhaps that’s exactly the point.
